This Barossa Valley wine is deeply flavoured with blackcurrant and blackberry fruit with lifted vanilla and spicy notes from new tight-grained French oak. Strong with rich black fruit flavours and structured with a long, complex palate and fine tannins we suggest pairing it with grilled meats, straight off the BBQ, as well as hard cheeses such as cheddar and parmesan for that pre-dinner snack.

Pairs well with braised lamb shanks or dark chocolate.

Barossa Valley Grenache

The grapes used for the Winton Road Grenache are carefully harvested from select older vineyards of the Barossa Valley. The vinification is carried out in a range of vessels which allow subtle French and American oak to give structure while letting the characters of the old vines and Grenache fruit take centre stage.

Intense ruby red colour with black raspberry, red florals, leather and amaro aromas. The palate opens with lovely fruit weight and savoury steam characters. It finishes with an elegant powdery tannin and longevity on the finish.

Pairs well with roasted rack of pork or barbecued asparagus.

A bright lemon colour with aromas of apple blossom, mandarin zest and great structure and intensity. The orchard fruit and classic citrus characters are balanced by a refreshing acidity and chalky minerality. The finish is bright, pure, and long.

Deep crimson colour with dark berries, blue florals, and herbal cola aromas. There is a lovely fruit weight that flows through the palate supported by the structure and light spice of the old oak. The long finish is accompanied by gentle chalky tannins and a refreshing blueberry acidity.

The grapes used for the Winton Road Tempranillo are carefully harvested from premium older vineyards of the Barossa Valley floor. The vinification takes place in a range of vessels to add complexity to the wine. The ageing is carried out in old French oak to add structure and light spice while allowing the Tempranillo fruit to take centre stage.

Pairs well with slow roasted lamb shoulder or mushroom risotto.

Barossa Valley Rosé

The grapes used for the Winton Road Rosé are carefully harvested from premium vineyards around Rowland Flat.The time on skins is limited to create a delicate blush colour with the vinification taking place in stainless steel to retain freshness and increase aromatics. A short period on lees is used to build texture and increase complexity in the final wine.

A delicately pale pink colour with aromas of raspberry, strawberry and a hint of white petals. The lightly rounded palate is balanced perfectly with good intensity, vibrant acidity and a subtle herbal edge. The long finish leaves a lingering character of red berries and cream.

Pairs well with chacuterie, picnic food, barbecue and tomato salad.

Eden Valley Chardonnay

Pale and bright lemon colour with aromas of white peach, nashi pear, nougat and citrus. The palate is nicely weighted and shows the delicate vanilla-sweet spice of new French oak with a hint of crème fraîche to accompany the orchard, stone fruit and citrus characters. The complex finish is accompanied by a gentle and refreshing acidity and a flint-like minerality.

Pairs well with baked whiting with herb butter and grilled asparagus with hollandaise.

Single Vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz

The fruit for the Single Vineyard Shiraz comes from the Marananga vineyard located halfway between the townships of Tanunda and Greenock. The vines range in age from fifteen to one hundred and twenty-six years old. The Marananga soils are predominantly red-yellow loams over red clay, which produce powerful, yet precise wines. Ageing takes place in French oak barriques for fifteen months with twenty-five percent of the oak being used for the first time.

A lovely deep colour with aromas of lavender, violet, blackberries and a savoury, game quality. The palate balances a rich core with vibrant acidity which gives both power and precision to the mouthfeel. The tannins are gentle and ashen, and the black fruits, warm pepper and delicate barrel spice are all present throughout the long and elegant finish of the wine.

Pairs well with char grilled rib-eye, slow roasted lamb shoulder and 95% Belgian chocolate.
